Expected to feature an aggressive styling.
The next generation Mitsubishi ASX has been rendered X-Tomi Design, which is based on the Mitsubishi eX Concept. The latter is an electric compact SUV design study that is set to premiere at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show in this month.
The rendered Mitsubishi ASX has an aggressive styling that features Mitsubishi's Dynamic Shield front end. The radical styling is complemented by the edgy hood line and slim head lamps that flow into the high-set upper grille.
The rendering has relatively small ORVMs, subtly-integrated door handles, and a floating C-pillar design. Overall, the second generation ASX, if based on the eX Concept in this fashion, could be a much needed design change for compact crossover.
It could feature new technologies that will be previewed in the Mitsubishi eX Concept. The interior of the eX Concept adopts a simple and futuristic design with a dual tone colour theme. There is a Head-Up Display, a free standing central infotainment screen, touch sensitive pads and the like, which could filter down to future production-spec models.
