With just days left to go for the Geneva Motor Show that kicks off on the 4th of March, Volkswagen group company Skoda has announced via its Facebook channel that no less than 14 vehicles will be displayed at the Geneva Motor Show.
Skoda had previously confirmed the Octavia Scout and the VisionC concept for the Swiss show, but also reportedly in the race is a concept vehicle that previews the next gen Fabia and perhaps a SUV concept.
Besides the concepts, Skoda is likely to bring in currently selling models - Yeti, Superb and Octavia - in showroom specification or in special edition guises. Skoda retails some of its European lineup (except the Fabia, Rapid Euro and Roomster) in India, and the additions coming to Switzerland are also very likely to be brought to India either through CKD or via localization.
Skoda's future model set includes a 7-seat large SUV derived from the VW CrossBlue Concept, an urban SUV based on the VW Taigun, and successors to the Fabia and Superb on the MQB Platform.
For the Indian market, a decision to make a sub-4m sedan has reportedly been reached, whereas refreshes for the current sellers Rapid and the Yeti are expected in showrooms towards the second half of the year.
