Skoda will likely expand the Skoda Karoq range with the addition of Sportline and Scout variants next year. Following the Skoda Karoq Sportline last month, IAB’s digital artist Shoeb Kalania has created a rendering of the Skoda Karoq Scout.

The Skoda Karoq Scout should have extra ruggedness with enhancements similar to that of the Skoda Kodiaq Scout.

The Skoda Karoq Scout features a more rugged styling than the regular Skoda Karoq. Like the Skoda Kodiaq Scout, the Skoda Karoq Scout may have silver matt-coloured elements such as parts on the bumpers, the roof rails and ORVM housings as well as distinctive underbody protection at the front and rear and alloy wheels to accentuate the SUV’s toughness. To signify the more rugged variant’s exclusivity further, Skoda would stick a ‘Scout’ logo on the front wings.

The Skoda Karoq Scout will likely feature a black interior theme, Alcantara/leather seat upholstery, wood trim for the dashboard and doors, ’Scout’ logo on the glove compartment and the seats, door sills with ‘Karoq’ branding, leather-wrapped steering wheel and an infotainment screen displaying the steering angle, a compass, altimeter, and oil and coolant temperatures.

The Skoda Karoq is available with 115 PS 1.0-litre TSI petrol, 150 PS 1.5-litre TSI petrol, 115 PS 1.6-litre TDI diesel, 150 PS 2.0-litre TDI diesel and 190 PS 2.0-litre TDI diesel engines. The Skoda Karoq Scout's options may include only the 150 PS engines and the 190 PS engine. Transmission choices may include 6-speed manual and 7-speed DSG. Availability of an all-wheel-drive system in the 190 PS 2.0-litre TDI engine model is a given.
