A new 2.0-litre 149PS 'eco diesel engine' reduces CO2 emissions to 147g/km (2WD, manual) and 157g/km (AWD, manual). The improved model is scheduled to for a mid-year debut in Europe.

The exterior receives a subtle makeover with a chrome-coated mesh radiator grille and hybrid wiper blades. The interior trim has been upgraded to a carbon grain pattern, and switches sport a glossy finish. The LED-lit instrument cluster has been reworked.

Several new features have improved the Korando’s NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness) properties. The gear ratios have been revisited and a new engine casing has reportedly reigned in diesel clatter.
