At the recently concluded Thai Motor Expo 2018, Suzuki Motor (Thailand) displayed the finalists of the 'Suzuki Swift Phenomenon' contest in a bid to select the most attention-grabbing custom Suzuki Swift in Thailand. The winner among the top 5 cars shown at the motor show is this stanced modified Swift that belongs to Mr Supawan Dusong Kaew.
The winner receives a paid visit for two to Japan along with prize money of THB 50,000 (INR 1,06,911). While the talking point of this custom Suzuki Swift is its lowered ride height, various visual updates lend the small car a very racy appearance. The modified model sports a purple paint in a pearl finish, while the roof gets a gloss black wrap. Unlike the other contestants which featured the Swift Sport's front bumper, the winning entry carries an updated version of the stock bumper along with a prominent diffuser.
In the side profile, you'll be quick to notice the golden-coloured four-spoke deep-dish (negative offset) alloy wheels that have been shod with low-profile soft compound Toyo tires. Another highlight is the tastefully crafted set of fender flares, which, along with the bold side skirts, plays a vital role in lending the lowered car a very sporty look. Rounding off the updates on the side are the black window tints and the window visors.
At the rear, the custom Suzuki Swift features an updated bumper with a huge diffuser and a new end-can. Furthermore, the tailgate gains a discreet spoiler. The interior features Recaro sports seats at the front along with extra gauges mounted atop the dashboard.

The only mechanical updates come in the form of a reworked suspension and an updated front brakes setup from Endless, Japan. The Thai-spec Suzuki Swift is powered by a K12M 1.2-litre Dualjet naturally aspirated engine that outputs a maximum power of 83 PS along with a peak torque of 108 Nm. The motor comes paired with a CVT that drives the front wheels.
