Update - Suzuki's Thai website has teased the car, confirming its unveiling at the Bangkok show that opens to the media on the March 24, and to the public on March 25.

Suzuki would be showcasing the Ciaz mid-size sedan at the forthcoming 36th Bangkok Motor Show, which is scheduled to take place from March 24 (press preview date). As Suzuki's Thai manufacturing facility does not make the car, the showcase car at least will be an Indian built model.
The Ciaz is currently made only in India and China (where it is called Alivio). The China-spec car though is a left-hand drive unit, and features certain cosmetic and mechanical changes exclusive to the Chinese market. These include features such as a sunroof, a chrome-rich grille, dual exhausts, a more powerful 1.6-liter gasoline engine and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
At the Bangkok Motor Show, the Ciaz is expected to be showcased with a CVT gearbox, instead of the 4-speed automatic transmission which is sold in the domestic market. Maruti offers a 4AT on the petrol Ciaz, which is powered by a 1.4-liter four-cylinder K-Series unit capable of 92.45 PS and 130 Nm of torque. This engine is also available with a 5-speed manual gearbox, which is a standard fitment.

The diesel Ciaz, unlikely to be made available in Thailand, is powered by the 1.3-liter MultiJet engine, good for 90 PS and 200 Nm of torque, available only with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
