Celebration editions for the festive season push.
Tata Motors will introduce Celebration Editions across its product lineup, to take advantage of the incoming festival season. After the Zest, the Bolt too will get a special Celebration Edition kit, which is expected to be available at dealerships from October 1 through November 15.
As it is a dealer-level kit, customers can avail the Celebration Edition on all variants of the car. Accessories include decals on the doors, hood, roof, pillars, a special Celebration Edition badge on the right side C-Pillar, a rear spoiler and illuminated scuff plates.
There are no further changes in store. Indian Autos Blog comes to know that if these accessories are purchased separately, it would cost the buyer about INR 20,000, but when bought as a kit, it is priced at INR 13,000.
The Bolt is available with a 1.2-liter turbocharged four-cylinder Revotron petrol engine and a 1.3-liter MultiJet diesel engine, both paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Unlike the Zest, Tata is yet to offer an automated manual transmission (AMT) on the Bolt.
The Bolt and Zest, despite being new launches, have failed to capture the market by storm. A previous report speaks about their slow sales in comparison to competitors.
The Indigo, Nano and Safari are other Tata products to benefit from the Celebration Edition.
