Tata Motors today launched four Prima products in Nepal along with its partner Sipradi Trading Private Limited. In the Tipper segment, Tata introduced the PRIMA LX 2523.K, and in the Cargo segment, Tata launched the PRIMA LX 2523.T, the PRIMA LX 3123.T and the PRIMA LX 4023.S.
Reclining seats with armrests, an adjustable steering system, a music system, a GPS system and AC are some of the features seen on these products. The trucks are powered by Cummins ISBe 5.9 common rail engine with a power output of 230 hp.
The Prima LX 2523.T and Prima LX 3123.T have a GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) of 25 tonnes and 31 tonnes respectively, and come with Eaton's ES-9106A DD gearbox. The PRIMA LX 4023.S tractor head gets the Tata G 1150 OD gearbox with 9-speed ranges with Overdrive, while the Prima 2523.K LX uses the same gearbox without the Overdrive.

Outside of Nepal, Tata's Prima range has models producing up to 380 bhp and 49 tonnes GVW.
