The TVS Apache 310 continues with an all-digital vertically mounted instrumentation console.

The TVS Apache RR 310S is the production version of the TVS Akula 310 racing concept showcased for the first time at the 2016 Auto Expo. YouTube user Street Fyterz has posted a video revealing the booting process of the console of the production bike.

The vertically mounted console gets standard speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge and odometer. The console also gets a digital clock, a side stand indicator, gear position indicator, engine temperature indicator and possibly a couple of trip meters as well. The console in the TVS Apache RR 310S also gets a handy gear shift light.

In comparison, the instrumentation console of the BMW G310R, the bike it is heavily based on, follows the traditional horizontally placed rectangular mount. The fully digital LCD panel gets the same readouts and a gear shift light. It also gets a numerical readout for engine temperature.

The bike borrows the powertrain from the BMW G310R which displaces 313 cc and redlines at 9,000 rpm. The output in the TVS product is expected to produce less than the 34 hp of power produced at the crank by the German roadster.

The TVS Apache 310 also gets the safety net of ABS which might be offered only as an option. The non-ABS version can be expected to be priced under INR 2 lakhs.
