UM Lohia India (Pvt) Ltd. is planning to launch an all-new UM Chill 150 ABS scooter in India in August 2019, according to a report from Bikewale.
The UM Chill 150 ABS premium scooter was leaked via images of product presentation slides, mostly snapped during a dealer’s conference. The premium scooter segment is booming in India, and the introduction of the Chill 1250 ABS will pave the way for the company to get some good volumes in India. The company is also going to launch the UM DSR Adventure ABS in the coming weeks.
The UM Chill 150 ABS will feature a modern-retro styling that takes inspiration from the Vespa. The Chill 150 ABS will be available in four exciting colour options – Red, Black, Blue and White. The bright paint is highlighted by chrome detailing to the body panels, mirrors and the exhaust cover.
The UM Chill 150 ABS will feature a circular headlight, leather-wrapped seat, fully-digital instrument cluster and disc brakes at both the ends along with single-channel ABS, alloy wheels, telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock.

Reports claim that the scooter will feature storage compartments under the seat and in the front apron. There’s no info on the details of the 150 cc engine. That said, the Chill 150 ABS will rival the Vespa 150 and the Aprilia SR150. Furthermore, UM plans to introduce multiple variants under the Chill brand.
