Mahindra to launch four new products in FY 2018-19 - Report
Mahindra & Mahindra has confirmed that it will be launching four all-new products during FY2018-19. A report published by Financial Express cites an investors conference as the source of Mahindra's 2018-19 launch plans.
The upcoming Mahindra cars in question will be an MPV and three SUVs. In April 2018, the Mahindra U321 (codename) MPV will land in showrooms. Mahindra had confirmed that the Mahindra U321 will arrive in the second half of FY2017-18 (October 2017-March 2018). However, the launch has been postponed to the first quarter of the next fiscal year.
The U321 MPV will be followed by the SsangYong Tivoli based SUV whose spy shots have been doing the rounds for quite some time now. In the second half of 2018, the Mahindra badged SsangYong Rexton G4 will go on sale. The premium SUV, showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo earlier this month, will rival the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
The fourth launch could be the fully-electric variant of the KUV100 aka Mahindra e-KUV100. The product was on display at the 2018 Auto Expo. Dr. Pawan Goenka, Managing Director, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, had confirmed earlier that the launch of the Mahindra KUV100 electric will take place in 2018.
Aside from these four new launches, Mahindra also plans to introduce the XUV500 facelift in the coming months.
