Scale models were leaked in October showing the design of Volvo's forthcoming estate.
The Volvo S90, prior to its official unveiling, was leaked through a series of images of its scale model. Following in those footsteps was the wagon version of the S90, dubbed the V90. Now, a render inspired by the scale model has been made by RM Design.
As expected, the front design and the flanks up to the C-pillar resemble that of the sedan. The flanks have muscular wheel arches, a strong shoulder line, chrome outline for the windows, chrome strip near the baseline, sloping roofline at the rear and new alloy wheel design.
The posterior is what differentiates the S90 from the wagon. The rear gets a curved tailgate that mimics that on the XC90 SUV. The taillight design is slightly different than the one seen in the leaked scale model, with rectangular dual exhausts completing the look.

The engine would be the 2.0-litre Drive-E four cylinder series with outputs ranging from 190hp to 400hp. Higher variants will mostly have four-wheel drive with an 8-speed automatic gearbox being the transmission of choice.
