Volkswagen showcased the VW Tiguan R-Line at the 2017 Dubai Motor Show last week. The VW Tiguan R-Line is already on sale in the UAE.
Volkswagen sells the VW Tiguan in the UAE in S 1.4, SE 1.4, SE 2.0, SEL 2.0 and Sport 2.0 configurations. It offers the R-Line package in the SUV in the SE 2.0, SEL 2.0 and Sport 2.0 configurations. The display model was based on the range-topping Sport 2.0 configuration that costs AED 1,32,337 (INR 23,28,605.98). On the outside, the VW Tiguan Sport 2.0 R-Line gets bumper & sill extension in “R” style, (optional) 20-inch Suzuka alloy wheels in 5-double spoke design and Gray Metallic colour, wheel locks with extended anti-theft protection and body-coloured rear spoiler in “R” style.
Interior highlights of the VW Tiguan Sport 2.0 R-Line include (optional) leather-wrapped sports steering wheel with “R-Line” logo, aluminium front scuff plates with “R-Line” logo, brushed stainless steel pedals, black headliner and comfort front seats featuring “Race” cloth upholstery in Magnetite Grey upholstery and an R-Line logo on the backrest.
The VW Tiguan Sport 2.0 R-Line is powered by the 220 hp 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine. The 7-speed DSG dual-clutch automatic transmission and the 4MOTION AWD system are standard in the sporty compact SUV.
