Now, a new spyshot from Brazil show the second generation Renault Clio receiving yet another cosmetic makeover featuring the aforementioned design updates. The second generation Clio made its global premiere back in 1998, so its somewhat the Maruti Alto of Brazil.
Renault will retain the 75hp 1.2L petrol engine on the Clio and a new catalog of accessories and upgrades are understood to be in the offing. The Clio will come with only five doors and competes with previous generation models that are going strong in Brazil such as the Ford Ka, Peugeot 206 and the Chevrolet Celta.
