The Tokyo Moto Show has become a center stage for all the out-of-the-box concepts. Yamaha has taken the opportunity to unveil an exciting array of futuristic and retro styled concept bikes.

The one that caught our eyes the most is the Bolt Café - a racier version of the already released Bolt Cruiser. The idea behind this concept is that riders can take customization to the max with this bike and ride how they want to.

The BOLT Café Bike is a concept bike expected to rival the likes of the Royal Enfield Continental GT and entry-level Harley-Davidson Sportster. This prototype has a massive 950cc air-cooled, four stroke, V-twin engine to give it the oomph.

Rest of the detailing is pretty retro such as a single cowled seat, dark brown leather theme throughout, reverse handlebars and underslung mirrors.

Yamaha claims that the BOLT’s simplicity and high degree of freedom for many different styles of customization expands the boundaries of enjoyment to be found in garage modification.

It is easy to say that the Bolt Cafe would fly off the forecourts if it were to go into full production. However, Yamaha has no plans to put the Bolt Café on the assembly line anytime soon.
