The Yamaha TMax 530 is a sporty scooter from Yamaha, with premium underpinnings. The scooter comes with twin LED headlamps, and a twin-pod analogue instrument cluster with a digital inset in-between. The display model is the DX variant that comes with an electrically adjustable windscreen, cruise control, heated handlebars and rider’s seat. D-mode, traction control system and smart key are standard as well.

The scooter draws power from a 530cc inline twin cylinder engine. The DOHC water-cooled mill makes 46 PS at 6,750 rpm, and 53 Nm at 5,250 rpm. The engine pairs with an automatic transmission that transfers power to the rear wheel using a belt drive. An upside down front fork and a link-type rear monoshock hold the diamond frame. Twin 267 mm front discs with radial callipers, and single 282 mm rear disc handle the braking responsibility. The scooter costs 1,350,000 (MSRP) in Japan.
