Yamaha V-Ixion R deliveries commence in Indonesia
The Yamaha V-Ixion R is IDR 3.6 million more expensive than the standard Yamaha V-Ixion.
New images shared by Iwanbanaran confirm that Yamaha Indonesia has started deliveries of the new Yamaha V-Ixion R. The bike was expected to enter mass production on June 26, 2017.
The Yamaha V-Ixion R bears the new VVA (Variable Valve Actuation) mill seen in the Yamaha R15 v3.0. Displacing 155.1 cc the engine is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox and is capable of producing 19.31 PS of power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm.
The bike gets a slipper clutch, LED headlamp, aluminium swingarm, hazard lamp, all digital instrumentation with shift light, LED taillamp, deltabox fame, 130 mm tubeless tyre and disc brakes at both ends. The Yamaha V-Ixion R gets a forged piston and a diasil cylinder which not only helps in better heat dissipation, it reduces friction loss.
The Yamaha V-Ixion R has an 11-litre fuel tank and a ground clearance of 165 mm. The bike has a seat height of 795 mm while the kerb weight is claimed to be 131 kg. The report also adds that Yamaha Indonesia has sold 16,198 units of the 2017 Yamaha V-Ixion in May 2017.

The Yamaha V-Ixion R has been priced at IDR 29,500,000 (OTR Jakarta) which is just IDR 800,000 less than the Yamaha Xabre.
