The Jaguar XJ facelift before its premiere sometime later this year has been spotted testing again, this time by Autoplus's reader Xavier.
Just like the previous spotting, the test mule has camouflaged front and rear fascias, suggesting that visual changes are subtle. In addition to revised fascias, expect the updated XJ to receive new alloy wheel designs.
Our in-house design specialist Shoeb envisions the 2015 Jaguar XJ (based on the previous spyshots) having a revised front bumper with a wider airdam and an aggressive rear bumper. The interior may undergo enhancements in material quality, while minor tweaks to the chassis and powertrains could also be on the cards.
The refreshed flagship sedan could debut either at the Paris Motor Show in October or at the Los Angeles Auto Show a month later.
Considering that JLR India doesn't put off introducing its new products in the country, the XJ facelift is expected here in a few months after its global premiere. It's to be noted that JLR has commenced the CKD assembly of the XJ 3.0-litre diesel variant at its Pune facility alongside the XF and the Land Rover Freelander 2, and the same arrangement should apply to the facelift.
