After numerous spy shots and extensive testing, the facelifted Wuling Hong Guang S has been launched in China. The Hong Guang is better known to us as the Chevrolet Enjoy.
The Wuling Hong Guang is made in China thanks to the industrial partnership that exists between General Motors, SAIC and Wuling motors. Despite the strange name, the Hong Guang finished 2012 as one of China's most bought automobiles.
For China, the Hong Guang was powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine producing 86bhp or a 1.4-liter producing 102bhp (which is what the Enjoy gets in India). Now, a more powerful 1.5-liter 112bhp engine has also been included in the lineup. Meanwhile the 1.4-liter engine seems to have been discontinued.
Cosmetically, the facelift carries a new grille with new foglamps and bumpers. A set of new taillights and redesigned alloy wheels complete the exterior package.
Inside, the car sports a fully updated dashboard with a touchscreen multimedia system. A new central console with piano black plastics and chrome accents complete the makeover.

For some reason, the refreshed model has an 'S' added to its name. Wuling has also announced prices and here they are:
- Hong Guang 1.2-liter - 61,800 CNY (INR 6.14 lakhs)
- Hong Guang 1.5-liter base - 65,800CNY (INR 6.54 lakhs)
- Hong Guang 1.5-liter - 69,800CNY (INR 6.93 lakhs)
GM India launched the Enjoy in the beginning of May this year. As a result, it is unlikely that we would see this facelift being introduced anytime soon.
