Chevrolet FNR concept teased, debuting at Auto Shanghai - Report
Could preview future Chevrolet technologies.
Chinese auto site Sohu has reported that the Shanghai-GM joint venture will display in the Chevrolet booth, the Chevrolet FNR concept, for the first time.
FNR stands for 'Find New Roads' which is Chevrolet's advertising slogan worldwide. The concept is an electric vehicle designed at GM's Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center (that also worked on the Chevrolet Sail and Enjoy) reportedly having features like autopilot, pupil recognition startup, gesture control, wireless charging, and a number of intelligent robotic controllers to make time spent driving relaxed.
GM presented a futuristic concept dubbed EN-V 2.0 at the 2013 Beijing Auto Show. It had advanced telematics, autonomous driving and car-to-car communication features, and was presented as a mobility solution to urban congestion and pollution. The FNR could be another GM experiment with future transportation.
