Ferrari is in the process of touching base with existing clients.
Italian supercar manufacturer, Ferrari, has marked a re-entry to India with the appointment of two dealers in New Delhi and Mumbai. Select Cars Pvt. Ltd., located on Mathura road in Delhi, and Navnit Motors in Andheri (W) Mumbai, are the appointed dealers.
Select Cars will also provide a service center, Ferrari said in a statement. The company has also written to its existing clients in India informing them of the new outlets.
In April last year, Ferrari announced in a statement that it had snapped ties with Automobili Italia Pvt. Ltd., former distributor and importer of Ferrari cars in India. Ashish Chordia led Shreyans Group, which set up Automobili Italia in 2011 exclusively for Ferrari, was reported to have provided negligent after-sales service, and in some reported instances, cars weren't delivered in the first place.
