A Honda CBR250RR is reported to be unveiled at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show next month. It is a fiercer version of the existing Honda CBR250R that has been speculated by publications of several markets including Japan. The upcoming model is believed to be codenamed 'Honda K64A.'

The Honda CBR250RR could get a twin projector headlamp.

Given that the competition of the present quarter litre sports bike from Honda has been upgraded significantly in terms of styling and performance, the new rendering suggests sharper looks on what could be the CBR250R replacement. It takes inspiration from the new equipment and design features that are adopted by the new models in the category and above as well, while contradicting earlier renderings of the motorcycle.

The Honda CBR250RR is rendered with a twin projector headlamp and slim LED DRLs, housed in a triple tone fairing with sharp cuts. While other speculative renderings have suggested a comparatively different design, the twin headlamp arrangement has always remained a common denominator, as the 250RR is perceived to be a baby Fireblade, while the existing 250R is a baby VFR.

In addition to the styling, the predictions on the 250RR include a twin-cylinder engine, which is anticipated as the rivals have upgraded from single-cylinder units.
