Jaguar recently announced that it will unveil a range of new variants for the F-Type family at the Los Angeles Auto Show this week.
Autocar UK reports that, according to its source, the range expansion will also involve the introduction of a manual transmission apart from AWD. The report says that Jaguar estimates at least 10% of prospective customers prefer to shuffle through the cogs themselves. As of now, the F-Type family is available only with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
The publication also reports that the British premium car maker has been overwhelmed by the response it received for the highly exclusive F-Type Project 7.
