Our first encounter with the G55 AMG at the Pavan Hans airstrip had a profound effect. So obviously, we had to report on its new (well sort of new) replacement - the Mercedes G63 AMG. Mercedes recently revealed the G63 AMG before its official debut at the Beijing Auto Show.
While the G55 AMG has always been notoriously famous to show its ‘specific’ finger to aerodynamics, we are glad to report that the replacement keep its boxy styling. But Mercedes has updated the G63 AMG with some subtle styling cues.

As the G63 AMG replaced the G55 AMG internationally, we would not be surprised to see it heading to the India shores immediately after its international launch. The older G55 AMG is sold in India via a CBU route making it very easy for Mercedes India to launch the G63 AMG.
