The exlusive SRT Viper Anodized Carbon Special Edition Package with the new Time Attack Group road-racing spec-package was unveiled at the ongoing New York Auto Show.
A total of 50 SRT Viper Anodized Carbon models will be made with only the last 10 being fitted with the Time Attack package. A numbered dashboard to identify these 10 cars is also part of the package.
The Time Attack package includes a carbon fibre rear deck lid spoiler and two-piece front corner splitters. Also included are two-mode Bilstein dampers made specifically for on-track performance. The suspension gets two unique settings in the Street and Race Mode. Special Pirelli P Zero Corsa tyres, matte black lightweight forged-aluminium Sidewinder wheels and solid sway bars are also in the package.
As the first and only production application on a Chrysler Group vehicle, the Anodized Carbon Special Edition Package features Metallic Matte Black and satin surface finishes. Satin Black Vapor marks the exhaust bezels, fuelfiller door, carbon brake ducts and a rear applique finish the package.
The special edition retains the SRT Viper's 8.4-liter V10 engine that makes 640 hp at 6,200 rpm and peak torque of 814 Nm at 5,000 rpm hooked to a 6-speed manual gearbox.
