Includes sporty graphics and other cosmetic upgrades.
Suzuki is showcasing special editions of the Suzuki Swift (first generation) and Suzuki Grand Vitara at the Auto Shanghai 2015. The special edition boosts the cosmetic appeal of both products with sporty graphics, exclusive body paint and features.
Suzuki Swift 20th Anniversary Edition
Based on the first generation Suzuki Swift, which is still manufactured and sold by Changan-Suzuki, the special edition features an exclusive two-tone wine red exterior paintwork and contrasting white roof, which improves the retro appeal. There are also a pair of white stripes running across the hood, while the roof has a body color stripe.
It gets extra black plastic body cladding, 15-inch alloy rims, a rear spoiler and a sporty body kit. Inside, the distinguishing features are the sporty front seats in wine red and gray with 20th Anniversary Edition badges, and sporty pedals.
Otherwise, it is powered by the same 1.5-liter VVT engine that produces 103 hp and 138 Nm of torque. The transmission is a choice between a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic.
The 20th Anniversary edition model was launched in 2013 and celebrates the 20th birthday (now turning 22) of the Changan-Suzuki joint venture that is manufacturing Suzukis in China.

Suzuki Grand Vitara Limited Edition
Also showcased is the Suzuki Grand Vitara Limited edition, which, like the Swift above, also features some exclusive touches.
The most noticeable one is, of course, the gold-wrapped grille and the "Grand Vitara" badging above it (mimicking Land Rover's positioning). The badges on the side as well as the rear are wrapped in gold, while the body is finished in a black with contrasting decals across it.
It's powered by a 2.4-liter engine producing 163.5 bhp and 225 Nm of torque, paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission or a 5-speed manual transmission.
