The Twenty-Two Motors Flow electric scooter had been spied road testing in India for the first time.
Twenty-Two Motors made quite a flash when they announced the Flow e-scooter for the Indian market at the Auto Expo 2018, priced at INR 74,740 (ex-showroom Delhi). The electric scooter is yet to go on sale in India, although, the spotting of the test mule suggests that the launch should be around the corner.
Late last year, Twenty-Two Motors partnered with Taiwanese automobile manufacturer, Kymco to strengthen its position in the nascent electric two-wheelers segment. The technology transfer partnership is aimed at bringing the Kymco's Ionex swappable battery solutions to the Twenty-Two Motors Flow, while Kymco will take this opportunity to foray into the Indian market.
Gaadiwaadi claims that the Twenty-Two Motors Flow test prototype was equipped with Kymco's Ionex battery swapping technology.
Powering the Twenty-Two Motors Flow is a 2.1 kWh battery pack that develops a maximum torque of 90 Nm. The electric scooter comes with a range of 160 km, while the battery pack can be charged up to 70 per cent within 60 minutes with a fast charger. The Flow e-scooter has a top speed of 60 km/h.
The Twenty-Two Motors Flow features front and rear disc brakes with combined braking system (CBS), IP65 water and dust protected, and 3-part tubeless tyres. Other notable features include Bluetooth connectivity, Cruise and Drag riding modes, Reverse, projector headlamp, AI capabilities and LED lights.

The Twenty-Two Motors Flow employs a Bosch developed DC motor that uses the brake energy recovery system for optimum performance. Suspension components include telescopic front forks and dual hydraulic rear suspension. The e-scooter gets an under-seat storage space to accommodate two helmets.
